Session 8: Innovation Exchange Plenary — Community Care Innovations and Pilots with Scaling
Eight case presentations on community case management, caregiver respite, volunteer coordination, service navigation, safeguarding tools, day care, care coordination platforms, and age-friendly service hubs — from SOMSWD Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia and the Philippines, PASWI, Tha Wung Hospital (Thailand), and HelpAge International Vietnam. Session 9: Analytical Labs — From Current Care Realities to Future Models
Four parallel labs combining current problem diagnosis, expert-guided peer exchange, future scenario reflection, and recommendation drafting:
- Lab A — Community Long-Term Care and Caregiver Support, led by ALAP, ACAI, and FOPDEV.
- Lab B — Workforce, Standards, and Safeguarding, led by CU-COLLAR, HSRI, and DOP.
- Lab C — Financing and Community Care Upscaling, led by ADB, Tsao Foundation, and Chula ARI.
- Lab D — Age-Friendly Environments and Community Resilience, led by UN-Habitat, NIDA, and AGAC.

Thematic group work to develop preliminary recommendations for policy, practice, and collaboration, facilitated by the College of Population Studies, Chulalongkorn University — producing the first draft of the Bangkok Recommendations.

Review and refine the draft Bangkok Recommendations on Community-Led Approaches and Innovations toward an Inclusive Silver Economy developed on Day 2; identify actionable activities for strengthening community and long-term care systems; clarify institutional roles, partnerships, and next steps.
